Placements24 is seeking a Senior Digital Curriculum Specialist for our Bloemfontein-based team. You will lead the creation and refinement of high-quality digital curricula, collaborating with subject matter experts, designers, and developers to ensure pedagogical soundness and engagement.

The role requires 6+ years in curriculum development, strong knowledge of standards, and experience with authoring tools and LMS platforms.

Qualifications

Master's degree and 6+ years in curriculum development.
Proven track record managing complex digital curriculum projects from concept to delivery.
Strong knowledge of K-12 and/or higher education standards and learning theories.
Experience with authoring tools and LMS platforms.

Responsibilities

Oversee development and refinement of digital curricula across subjects and grades.
Collaborate with SMEs to ensure content accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness.
Review interactive exercises, assessments, and multimedia content for quality.
Develop QA protocols and style guides for digital content.
Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables for curriculum initiatives.
Research trends in digital learning and educational technology.
Support training of editorial and development teams on best practices.
Analyze learner data to improve curriculum components.
Contribute to strategic planning for digital product expansion.
