Job summary

Ability Executive Recruitment in East London, South Africa, seeks a Learning & Development Specialist to design, develop and deliver learning programs in collaboration with SMEs. The role starts with generalist responsibilities including light facilitation, basic change support and LMS management, with progression toward advanced instructional design and digital learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum: National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in HR, Education, Training & Development, or a related field.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in HR, Industrial Psychology or Education.
• Prosci Change Management Certification or similar advantageous for future growth.
• 4 years experience in L&D, including design and delivery of training programs.
• Exposure to project management environments and digital learning tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver learning programs in collaboration with SMEs.
• Co-create learning content for classroom, virtual, and e-learning.
• Develop training materials and quick reference guides using Articulate, Scribe, Canva, and Bob Learn.
• Support SMEs during initial training sessions and lead refreshers.
• Manage LMS uploads, tracking, reporting and content updates.
