As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing employee skills, knowledge, and performance within our organization. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you’ll design, implement, and facilitate effective learning programs, with a focus on continuous improvement to keep our workforce competitive and adaptable. Additionally, you will take ownership of the new Learning Management System (LMS) implemented by the group.

Responsibilities

• Training Program Design and Delivery: Apply best practice learning methodologies to create engaging training content. Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and e-learning modules. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and relevant content.
• Training Administration: Coordinate training events, including scheduling, logistics, and materials. Manage training calendars and registration systems. Handle SETA (Sector Education and Training Authority) administration.
• Performance Evaluation: Assess training effectiveness and adjust programs as needed. Monitor training completion rates and track training hours. Provide regular reports on L&D metrics.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with HR, managers, and employees to identify training needs. Build strong relationships with internal teams to align L&D initiatives with business goals.
• Budget Management: Track training budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness. Optimize resources to achieve maximum impact.
