Job summary

Pro Talent in Durban is seeking a driven sales and marketing professional to promote products to existing and new customers across identified territories. The role focuses on increasing market share and customer knowledge within the wire industry.

You will assist with marketing plans, visit customers regularly, and present tailored proposals while managing credit limits and forecasts. Strong product knowledge and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• Diploma or degree in marketing and sales.
• Professional sales skills training.
• Minimum 3 years’ sales and marketing experience in the respective product field and territories.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Computer literate.
• Knowledge of SYSPRO software.

Responsibilities

• Promote the company and its products to existing customers and new customers in identified territories.
• Increase customer awareness and market share.
• Develop extensive customer knowledge and understanding of the wire industry.
• Assist with Marketing plans and Sales Strategies.
• Identify and develop new markets and customers.
• Ensure optimal growth by providing excellent customer service.

• Ensure customer credit limits align with budgeted sales.
• Assist with monthly material forecast.
• Record and analyse monthly customer sales.
• Stock management and reduction of slow-moving stock.
