Managed People Solutions is seeking a Junior Merchandiser Intern to join their team in Magaliesburg, South Africa. This role offers a stipend of R3500 per month and is ideal for someone energetic and detail-oriented, eager to gain hands-on experience in the retail and liquor industry.

The internship lasts 12-18 months and requires candidates to be under 28 and unemployed, with specific educational qualifications. Responsibilities include managing in-store stock, executing displays, and maintaining records.

Formación

• Currently unemployed and not previously participated in a similar internship.

Responsabilidades

• Determine stock that needs to be merchandised.
• Ensure the correct stock is available in-store.
• Check product quality, rotation, and pricing.
• Set up products according to company merchandising standards.
• Report customer issues and requests.
• Maintain accurate merchandising records.
• Monitor and report out-of-stock items to management.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and promotions.
• Execute store calls according to the call cycle.
• Advise the Regional Sales Manager on out-of-stock products.

Educación

NCV Level 4 in Administration, Finance, Transport & Logistics, Management, Marketing, or IT

N6 Certificate in Marketing Management or Business Management

Location: Magaliesburg
Stipend: R3500 per month
Contract Duration: TVET N6: 18 months / NCV Level 4: 12 months
Working Hours: 9 hours per day (including lunch)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Determine stock that needs to be merchandised.
• Ensure the correct stock is available in-store.
• Check product quality, rotation, and pricing.
• Set up products according to company merchandising standards.
• Report customer issues and requests.
• Maintain accurate merchandising records.
• Monitor and report out-of-stock items to management.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and promotions.

• Advise the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) on out-of-stock products.

Minimum Requirements

• Under the age of 28.
• Currently unemployed and have not participated in a similar internship before.
• Qualification requirements:
  • NCV Level 4 in one of the following fields:

    • Information Technology (IT)
  • N6 Certificate in:
    • Marketing Management
    • Business Management
