Job summary

Managed People Solutions is seeking a dedicated Junior Merchandiser Intern in Hartbeespoort, North West. This role offers hands-on experience in merchandising while working closely with leading brands in a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate will be innovative, detail-oriented, and reliable, ready to ensure stock availability and maintain merchandising records. Applicants must be under 28 and currently unemployed, with relevant NCV Level 4 or N6 qualifications.

Qualifications

• No prior participation in a similar internship.

Responsibilities

• Determine stock that needs to be merchandised.
• Ensure correct stock availability in-store.
• Check product quality, rotation, and pricing.
• Set up products according to merchandising standards.
• Report customer issues and requests.
• Maintain accurate merchandising records.
• Monitor and report out-of-stock items.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and promotions.
• Execute store calls according to the call cycle.
• Advise the Regional Sales Manager on out-of-stock products.

We’re looking for an energetic, reliable, and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser Intern to join our dynamic team in Hartbeespoort, North West. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, takes pride in creating eye-catching product displays, and wants hands‑on experience with leading brands in-store.

Location: Hartbeespoort, North West
Stipend: R3500 per month
Contract Duration: TVET N6: 18 months / NCV Level 4: 12 months
Working Hours: 9 hours per day (including lunch)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Determine stock that needs to be merchandised.
• Ensure the correct stock is available in‑store.
• Check product quality, rotation, and pricing.
• Set up products according to company merchandising standards.
• Report customer issues and requests.
• Maintain accurate merchandising records.

• Keep up to date with product knowledge and promotions.

• Advise the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) on out‑of‑stock products.

Minimum Requirements

• Under the age of 28.
• Currently unemployed and have not participated in a similar internship before.
• Qualification requirements:

  • N6 Certificate in:
