Job summary

Managed People Solutions seeks a Junior Merchandiser Intern for Langebaan, Western Cape. The role focuses on eye-catching in-store displays and hands-on experience with leading brands in a fast-paced retail environment.

Stipend is R3500 per month; Contract Duration: TVET N6 18 months / NCV Level 4 12 months. Working hours are 9 hours per day, including lunch.

Qualifications

• Under 28 years old.
• Currently unemployed and have not participated in a similar internship before.
• NCV Level 4 in Administration, Finance, Transport & Logistics, Management, Marketing or IT.
• N6 Certificate in Marketing Management or Business Management.

Responsibilities

• Determine stock that needs to be merchandised.
• Ensure the correct stock is available in-store.
• Check product quality, rotation, and pricing.
• Set up products according to company merchandising standards.
• Report customer issues and requests.
• Maintain accurate merchandising records.
• Monitor and report out-of-stock items to management.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and promotions.
• Execute store calls according to the call cycle.
• Advise the Regional Sales Manager on out-of-stock products.
