Job summary

Pedros in Polokwane is opening a brand-new restaurant and seeks passionate, energetic individuals to join the launch team. You will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure service quality, manage stock and purchasing, and drive profitability while leading staff and maintaining health and safety standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of restaurant/fast-food experience, solid communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset to help build a strong store culture from day one.

Qualifications

• Restaurant and Fast-Food Service experience; minimum 1 year.
• GAAP/Micros experience and knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Customer service and good verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing overall operation of the restaurant/ take-away.
• Ensuring quality standards of food and COMPANY'S SOPs.
• Overseeing and managing stock control, purchasing and orders.
• Dealing with customer complaints and maintaining service levels.
• Maximising profitability and meeting sales and GP% targets, including motivating staff.
• Managing staff including discipline and work rosters.
• Work within a team and drive the restaurant/take-away forward.
