Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Enrolment in or completion of a professional accounting qualification (SAIPA/SAICA).
• 0-2 years of experience in accounting or auditing.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits.
• Perform audit tests of account balances, transactions, and financial processes.
• Document audit procedures performed and findings in accordance with firm standards.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Gather and analyze audit evidence.
• Prepare schedules and workpapers for senior auditor review.
• Communicate effectively with client personnel to gather information and address inquiries.
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports and management letters.
