Placements24 is seeking a Junior Auditor for an internship in George, Western Cape. You will support senior auditors in planning and executing financial audits, gathering evidence, and documenting results. The role offers remote-friendly work with occasional on-site client visits in the George area.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate eager to learn, travel occasionally, and pursue SAIPA/SAICA articles with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or related field is required.
• Completion of articles or a strong desire to pursue professional qualification (SAIPA/SAICA).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Assist senior auditors in planning and executing financial audits.
• Gather and analyze audit evidence, including financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Perform tests of internal controls and identify potential weaknesses.
• Prepare audit working papers and documentation according to firm standards.
• Assist in identifying and documenting audit findings and recommendations.
• Communicate progress and requirements with clients and team members.
