Placements24 in Vereeniging, Gauteng, seeks a motivated Junior Accountant to support daily accounting tasks and learn under senior staff. You will gain exposure to financial statements, GL entries, reconciliations and tax computations while developing solid practical accounting skills.

Recent graduates or those with up to 2 years' experience will thrive in a supportive, professional environment. The role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office learning and remote work flexibility, and a stipend

Formación

• Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent; studying towards BCom or diploma.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel; Pastel/Xero experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willing to work a hybrid schedule from Vereeniging offices.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparing financial statements and general ledgers.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Assist with basic tax computations under supervision.
• Maintain accurate financial records and provide admin support.
