You will handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, journal postings, and assist with month-end close, while developing expertise in GAAP/IFRS and accounting software such as Pastel and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Understanding of GAAP/IFRS.
• Proficiency with Pastel, SAP, and Excel.
• Eligible to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with journal entries and general ledger postings.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Help prepare financial statements and reports under supervision.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Handle payroll processing support and related queries.
• Contribute to internal control procedures and compliance.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors as required.
