Placements24 is seeking a Senior Auditor to join an internal audit team in Kimberley, South Africa. You will plan and execute financial, operational, and compliance audits within the banking and finance sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CIA, CA(SA), or CISA certification is desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years in internal or external auditing, preferably in banking/finance.
• Strong understanding of auditing principles, risk assessment, and COSO.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute internal audits across financial, operational, and compliance areas.
• Assess the adequacy of internal controls and identify risks and control weaknesses.
• Develop detailed audit programs and testing procedures.
• Document audit findings, prepare comprehensive audit reports, and present to senior management.
• Recommend practical solutions to address audit findings and improve processes.
• Follow up on implementation of agreed-upon action plans by management.
• Stay current with audit standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
