Placements24 is seeking a diligent Graduate Junior Accountant for its Vereeniging, Gauteng team. The role offers a hybrid work model—partly in-office, partly remote—with exposure to bookkeeping, AP/AR, and financial statement preparation.

You will be mentored by experienced accountants as you gain practical exposure to diverse client portfolios. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and aims for SAIPA/SAICA articles, enjoying good attention to detail, strong analytical

Qualifications

• Graduate who has completed a accounting-related degree.
• Strong grasp of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel for analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger entries and records.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, and assist with reconciliations.
• Support monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Assist with tax computations under supervision.
• Contribute to process improvements in the accounting dept.
