Job summary

ATS Client in South Africa's Gauteng is seeking an IT Systems and Helpdesk Manager to oversee system infrastructure, server management, and connectivity, with an emphasis on reliability and ISO compliance.

You will troubleshoot databases, support sales and clients in meetings, manage the helpdesk, document testing, ensure SLA adherence, and drive policy creation with the development team.

Qualifications

• Pastel Evolution knowledge is required.
• Windows Server 2008/2012/2016+ experience is required.
• SQL Server 2008/2012/2016+ experience is required.
• Active Directory experience is required.
• Virtual Server experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Look after company system infrastructure, servers, connectivity and integration support.
• Help with troubleshooting database issues.
• Troubleshoot systems and provide feedback to development team.
• Help with testing all systems and provide test results to developers.
• Ensure proper redundancy for supporting company solutions.
• Ensure ISO policies and procedures are followed.
• Create policies and procedures for the company's ISO when needed.
• Document testing results as agreed by all parties.
• Manage the company helpdesk and log hours for all support queries and ensure SLA is not breached.
• Assist Sales staff with technical support in meetings and solutions.

Education

Grade 12

Diploma or Degree in IT administration, MCSE, etc.
