Job summary

ATS Client in Cape Town seeks an IT Infrastructure Lead to stabilise and modernise a high-availability network across a nationwide QSR estate. You will audit LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi, design redundancy, and drive 99.9% uptime during peak trading hours.

This role leads FortiGate policy migrations, implements Microsoft 365 Defender/EOP, rolls out Intune for endpoints, and partners with operations to deliver new store openings on time with first-time-right IT delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure within retail/hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi design, audit, and remediation.
• Proven ability to lead IT teams and manage critical uptime initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Audit LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi across all locations with a goal of 99.9% uptime.
• Migrate and harden firewall policies using FortiGate across the estate.
• Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune for device management and policy enforcement.
• Roll out Microsoft 365 Defender and EOP for comprehensive security coverage.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure on-time, first-time-right store openings.
