ATS Client in South Africa's Gauteng is seeking an IT Systems and Helpdesk Manager to oversee system infrastructure, server management, and connectivity, with an emphasis on reliability and ISO compliance.

You will troubleshoot databases, support sales and clients in meetings, manage the helpdesk, document testing, ensure SLA adherence, and drive policy creation with the development team.

Formación

• Pastel Evolution knowledge is required.
• Windows Server 2008/2012/2016+ experience is required.
• SQL Server 2008/2012/2016+ experience is required.
• Active Directory experience is required.
• Virtual Server experience is required.

Responsabilidades

• Look after company system infrastructure, servers, connectivity and integration support.
• Help with troubleshooting database issues.
• Troubleshoot systems and provide feedback to development team.
• Help with testing all systems and provide test results to developers.
• Ensure proper redundancy for supporting company solutions.
• Ensure ISO policies and procedures are followed.
• Create policies and procedures for the company's ISO when needed.
• Document testing results as agreed by all parties.
• Manage the company helpdesk and log hours for all support queries and ensure SLA is not breached.
• Assist Sales staff with technical support in meetings and solutions.

Educación

Grade 12

Diploma or Degree in IT administration, MCSE, etc.

Our client in the Telecoms Industry is looking to hire an IT Systems and Helpdesk Manager.

Role

• System infrastructure support
• SQL database support
• Reporting to customers and staff on issues and resolutions
• System support
• Maintain IT infrastructure of company and company's customers
• Assist Sales staff with technical support in meetings and solutions

Responsibilities

• Look after company system infrastructure, servers, connectivity and integration support, etc.
• Help with troubleshooting database issues
• Help with troubleshooting systems and providing feedback to the development team
• Help with testing all systems and providing test results to developers
• Ensure the company has proper redundancy for supporting company solutions
• Ensure the company follows all ISO policies and procedures
• Create all policies and procedures for the company's ISO when needed
• Document all testing results in a manner that is agreed on by all parties
• Manage the company helpdesk and log hours for all support queries and ensure our SLA is not breached

Knowledge

• Pastel Evolution
• Windows 2008, 2012 and 2016+ server

• Knowledge on all forms of internet connectivity
• Firewall Knowledge
• Android, Apple, Blackberry and Windows Mobile knowledge
• Worked with internal custom IT system support knowledge
• Designing of systems and maintaining them from an IT support side
• Knowledge of IT best practices for change control, implementations, etc.

Requirements

• Must have own car and valid driver's licence
• Responsible, trustworthy and honest
• Grade 12
• Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in IT administration, MCSE, etc.
• Experience: 4-5 years in IT network administration with advanced SQL knowledge
• Experience: 2-3 years in managing a helpdesk
