Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an IT Support Technician Apprentice in Klerksdorp for a hybrid role that blends on-site and remote work. You’ll learn to diagnose hardware, software, and network issues while supporting end users, gaining practical experience under seasoned IT professionals.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; IT support certificate/diploma advantageous.
Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows/macOS).
Familiarity with network concepts and troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving, analytical and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level IT support to end-users.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
Troubleshoot network connectivity and assist with server tasks.
Respond to support tickets and resolve issues promptly.
Document solutions and assist with IT asset management.
