Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in similar IT role or IT environment
• Own reliable transport
• IT tertiary qualification and MS qualification
• Certifications (MCP, MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CISM)
• VMware, Hyper-V, Office 365 Server experience
• Networking WAN/LAN and Wireless Backups experience
• Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Responsibilities

• Receive, validate, and log client requests
• Administer and maintain the support desk database and call logging system daily
• Ensure the correct escalation procedure is followed on all critical calls and requests
• Assist with analysing and interpreting requests to ensure proper categorisation/prioritisation
• Assist in investigating issues to ensure high level client service support
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve faults swiftly
• Keep users updated on progress toward fault resolution
• Monitor and update support calls efficiently
• Proactively communicate with business on incidents or projects
• Maintain relevant documents related to faults
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction
• Communicate professionally and update clients on actions
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
