Job summary

Boardroom Appointments in Germiston seeks an experienced IT help desk professional to support end users, troubleshoot hardware and software, and ensure smooth operation of business systems.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in IT, at least three years’ end-user support experience, and familiarity with ITIL practices, ServiceNow, and JD Edwards. You will manage asset inventory and assist with IT projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer technology, computer programming, information technology, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience supporting end users/help desk.
• Understands information systems and provides system/software support.
• Experience with ITIL best practices and incident/requests ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for all user-assigned equipment including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Implements and upgrades hardware and software for user equipment including desktops and mobile devices.
• Supports barcode systems equipment (Honeywell handheld scanners, Zebra label printers).
• Maintains IT-related assets and inventory; performs maintenance and imaging of machines.
• Performs first-level software support for JD Edwards and related systems.
