Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an IT Recruitment Consultant to lead full lifecycle recruitment for IT roles across diverse sectors from Benoni, Gauteng. You will source, screen, and place software developers, network engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and IT project managers while building strong relationships with hiring managers.

You will leverage tech communities, LinkedIn, and IT job boards, conduct technical interviews, and negotiate offers.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for IT positions, from initial client brief to candidate placement.
• Source candidates using a variety of methods, including specialized IT job boards, LinkedIn, and tech communities.
• Conduct in-depth technical screening and competency-based interviews for IT roles.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with IT hiring managers and key decision-makers.
• Develop a deep understanding of different IT stacks, technologies, and industry trends.
• Negotiate offers and manage candidate expectations throughout the hiring process.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT recruitment , either in-house or agency side.
• Proven ability to source and engage hard-to-find technical talent.
• Solid understanding of various programming languages, IT infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment CRM tools.
• Passion for technology and the ability to quickly learn about new IT specialisms.
