Job summary

ATS Client in Johannesburg is seeking an IT Operations Manager to lead three teams within the Infrastructure department: IT Infrastructure, Support and Facilities. You will drive performance, implement efficient processes and ensure high availability of systems and services.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or Facilities Management and at least 5 years of leadership experience managing multiple teams in infrastructure or facilities management, with a track record of delivering IT

• Drive intra-team processes and efficiencies for optimal performance.

• Develop and implement IT policies and standards.
• Ensure maintenance and proper deployment of software across systems.

IT Operations Manager who will be responsible managing 3 teams, housed under the Infrastructure department; IT Infrastructure, Support and Facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure team will ensure servers, networks and the company's general IT infrastructure are available robust, maintained and are able to handle any issues that impact up time.
• Support team will be responsible for all the systems, having all software installed and maintained.
• Facilities team will be responsible for general maintenance.
• IT Ops manager will be responsible for driving the success of these teams.
• Ops manager will be responsible for creating processes and intra-team efficiencies that ensure the teams are performing optimally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Facilities Management.
• Min 5 years experience in a similar IT operations or facilities management leadership role.
• Proven experience and success in the management of multiple teams in the infrastructure space.
• Expertise in developing IT policies, managing technical and facilities teams.
