Job summary

ATS Client is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to plan, organize and execute the company’s infrastructure strategy across data centres, servers, networks, and security. You will own DRP testing, SLA compliance and vendor relationships to ensure continuous operations.

You will lead the infrastructure architecture, drive the plan, manage outsourcing agreements, and deliver stable, scalable services with 24/7 support as required by the business.

Qualifications

• Information technology degree required.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the financial services industry essential.
• Exposure to the SGB environment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop the infrastructure plan.
• Deliver on the infrastructure plan.
• Ensure office connectivity in place and managed to SLA.
• Ensure network management tools in place (NMS, proxy server).
• Telephony system per SLA agreement.
• Daily, weekly and monthly stats.
• Firewalls and security.
• LAN and WAN working to SLA.
• Ensure servers are available to company users as per SLA.
• Ensure management of network partners.
• Management stats in monthly reports.
• Ensure all systems data backed up daily and stored in secure retrievable area.
• Business continuity plan in place and tested annually.
• Manage the i8 SLA, including Antivirus and Malware.
• Desktops standards and profiles.
• Email patch management and version control on.
• Ensure updates installed in the correct controlled way (WSUS/WDS).
• Only company users able to log on to Domain.
• Protection from Malware and virus via antivirus application on each PC.
• Email security and antispam solution implementation and management.
• Office printers and scanners.
• Maintain a support helpdesk.
• Helpdesk availability 24/7/365.
• Support analysis and reports.
• Implement and communicate SLA.
• Monitor and report on SLA breaches.
• Manage all service providers.

Job description

The Infrastructure manager is responsible for planning, organizing and executing infrastructure plan and activities. This includes Data Centre, servers, databases, applications, wide area networks, local area networks, desktops, printers, telephony and security, including antivirus and malware. The infrastructure manager needs to ensure that the offices can operate effectively and efficiently to achieve strategy, and is also responsible for the infrastructure architecture, operations, outsourcing agreements, and relationship management with service providers.
