Placements24 is looking for a skilled Helpdesk Support Analyst in Benoni, Gauteng. You will join a dedicated IT support team to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and provide excellent user support.

The role is office-based in Benoni. You will work with a team of IT professionals, handle tickets, document solutions, and assist with IT upgrades and training for end-users.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Helpdesk or equivalent IT support role.
• Friendly, clear communication with users and teams.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Knowledge of basic network principles and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide first/second-level technical support to all users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install and configure computer hardware and software.
• Respond to helpdesk tickets and user requests promptly.
• Document solutions and system configurations for future reference.
• Manage user accounts and permissions.
• Support IT asset management and inventory.
• Assist with new IT systems and upgrades.
• Train end-users on IT systems and best practices.
