Job summary

Edge Executive Search Group is seeking an IT Engineer in the Western Cape for a permanent role blending remote support with planned onsite rotations during harvest season in Piketberg.

You will handle Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, and basic server tasks, troubleshoot issues, manage tickets, and collaborate with IT management and senior staff to ensure reliable service across multiple client environments.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in technical support or a managed services environment.
• Previous MSP experience is essential
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
• Basic networking knowledge covering LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS
• Experience with RMM, monitoring and ticketing systems

Responsibilities

• Provide remote Microsoft 365 support to users across Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
• Install, configure, update and maintain Windows 10/11 desktops and laptops
• Monitor client systems and devices using RMM tools
• Log, manage and resolve support tickets through the service desk
