Job summary

Synergy Jobs (Pty) Ltd is seeking an IT Support Engineer in Cape Town or Paarl. The role focuses on MS365 administration (Exchange Online, Power BI, Teams, Entra, SharePoint, OneDrive) and broad IT support across Windows 11, printers, mobile devices, VOIP phones, and network services.

You will work with hybrid Microsoft infrastructure, provide remote support, and assist with device setup and remediation, with Afrikaans and English required.

Qualifications

• MS365 administration including Exchange Online, Power BI, Teams, Entra, SharePoint and OneDrive
• Must have network experience (FortiGate, Mikrotik, Ubiquiti and DNS)
• In-depth knowledge of MS Windows 11
• Ability to support, maintain and configure printers, mobile devices and VOIP phones
• Understanding of hybrid infrastructure in Microsoft environment
• Hardware and software troubleshooting and remediation; setting up new devices and supporting existing devices
• English and Afrikaans
• Must be admin oriented
• Advantageous: VMware, Rubrik, Mimecast, Send marc, Veeam
• Ad hoc duties
• Position will require supporting users remotely

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support and troubleshooting for Windows 11 and MS365 environments
• Configure and maintain printers, mobile devices and VOIP phones
• Assist with hybrid Microsoft infrastructure and cloud services
• Remote user support and on-site support as needed
• Assist with deployment of new devices and IT equipment
• Participate in admin tasks and IT maintenance
