OVK in Ladybrand, Free State, is seeking a Procurement Assistant: Irrigation to support irrigation purchases and product data administration. You will handle purchase orders, price lists on AS400, and cooperate with the procurement and farming teams.

Formación

• Matric; administrative, purchasing or stock qualification will be beneficial.
• Preferably 2–3 years of administrative experience in purchasing, inventory, or agricultural trade.
• Knowledge of AS400 and irrigation products will be an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily administrative support to the Purchasing Manager and Product Series Manager.
• Create, check, document, and follow up on purchase orders and outstanding orders.
• Maintain and verify supplier price lists, costs, and selling prices on AS400 according to approved authorizations.
• Register and follow up supplier-, inventory-, delivery-, and warranty-claims through to completion.
• Track credit notes, returns, delivery receipts, and differences between orders, receipts and invoices.
• Prepare inventory, price, claim, and outstanding-order reports and distribute them in a timely manner.
• Maintain product and supplier records, documentation, and electronic files.
• Connect with branches, DC, suppliers and finance to resolve queries quickly.
• Escalate delays, price variances and unresolved claims in a timely manner.
