Placements24 seeks a proactive Business Development Manager to drive adoption of insurance tech solutions in Kimberley and the Northern Cape. The role combines client-facing sales with market analysis in a hybrid work setup, requiring travel to the Kimberley office and client sites.

You will develop new business opportunities, build relationships with insurers and brokers, deliver compelling presentations, and help shape the growth strategy for our cutting-edge solutions in the Northern Cape

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years in business development or sales, preferably in insurance or FinTech.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of the insurance value chain.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in insurance sector.
• Develop relationships with insurers, brokers, and related organizations.
• Conduct market research and analysis to understand client needs.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Negotiate and close sales agreements; meet revenue targets.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop sales collateral and campaigns.
• Provide market feedback to product development.
• Attend industry conferences and networking events; generate leads.
• Manage sales pipeline and forecasting.
• Contribute to overall sales strategy.
