Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting an Insurance Customer Service Representative for our Upington branch. You will be the first point of contact for policyholders, providing friendly and efficient support on policies, billing, and claims.

In this role you will handle inquiries via phone, email, and in person, maintain accurate records in the CRM, and guide customers through the early stages of claims while ensuring exceptional service and client retention in the Northern Cape region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a patient, helpful demeanor.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and CRM software.
• Ability to multitask and manage inquiries effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
• Provide accurate information regarding insurance policies, coverage, and billing.
• Assist customers with policy changes, renews, and cancellations.
• Guide customers through the initial stages of the claims process and direct them to the appropriate resources.
• Maintain accurate customer records and update information in the company's CRM system.
