Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in insurance.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales goals.
- Identify and pursue new leads in commercial and personal insurance sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, agents, and corporate clients.
- Present and sell the company’s range of insurance products and services.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends.
- Negotiate terms and close deals to meet/exceed targets.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor offerings.
- Provide market feedback to inform strategic planning.
- Manage the sales pipeline and report on sales activities and forecasts.
