Job summary

Rory Mackie & Associates seeks a Client Onboarding Manager in Cape Town to coordinate institutional take-on processes, work with Legal, Compliance and Investment Operations, and ensure smooth transitions across funds and accounts.

You will liaise with clients, custodians, and transition managers, manage timelines, and support automation initiatives using data tools. A degree and 3–4 years in client onboarding are preferred, with AML and regulatory awareness advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or equivalent.
• 3–4 years in client onboarding/transitions or CRM.
• CRM experience essential.
• Solid understanding of client transitions, AML, market risk, pooled vehicles, and external transition managers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate take-on for institutional investors across internal teams and external parties.
• Liaise with clients to ensure requirements are understood and timelines are managed.
• Ensure regulatory AML obligations are met in onboarding.
• Set up client portfolios and liaise with Investment Administrator for linkages.
