Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Recruitment Consultant to service the industrial and manufacturing sectors from its Vereeniging office. You will source, screen and place skilled and semi-skilled staff across factory floors, with a strong emphasis on client service and candidate engagement.

You will build relationships with local businesses, understand safety and operational needs, and manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing to onboarding, in a fast-paced market.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years in recruitment with a focus on industrial or manufacturing placements.
• Proven track record sourcing and placing skilled and semi-skilled industrial personnel.
• Experience with ATS and recruitment databases.
• Full-time role based in Vereeniging office.

Responsabilidades

About the Role

Our client, a well-established recruitment consultancy, is seeking a dedicated Industrial Recruitment Consultant to join their team in Vereeniging, Gauteng. This role is focused on servicing the industrial and manufacturing sectors, sourcing and placing skilled and semi-skilled personnel. You will be instrumental in connecting businesses with the talent they need to drive their operations, from factory floor staff to supervisory and management roles. This position requires a strong understanding of the industrial landscape, excellent candidate engagement skills, and a proactive approach to client service. As an on-site role, you will be fully integrated into the local Vereeniging business community, building strong networks and delivering exceptional recruitment solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process for industrial roles, including artisans, technicians, machine operators, supervisors, and production managers.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the industrial sector within Gauteng.

• Stay abreast of trends and advancements within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment, with a significant focus on industrial or manufacturing placements.
• Proven track record of successfully sourcing and placing skilled and semi-skilled industrial personnel.
• Strong understanding of various industrial trades, manufacturing processes, and required certifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with both clients and candidates in industrial settings.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment databases.
• Must be able to work full-time from our Vereeniging office.
• A proactive and resilient attitude towards achieving recruitment targets.
• Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related field is beneficial.
