Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Sales Representative to drive new business and manage existing accounts in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will understand client needs, propose equipment solutions, and push for growth across manufacturing, mining, and construction sectors.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial sales, strong technical aptitude, and excellent communication. A hybrid work setup and travel within the Richards Bay region are expected. Training and career growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in industrial equipment.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets.
• Strong understanding of mechanical/industrial processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office.
• Engineering, Sales, or related degree/diploma advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new industrial equipment sales in Richards Bay region.
• Nurture relationships with existing clients for repeat business.
• Conduct site visits and meetings to assess equipment needs and applications.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and product demonstrations.
• Negotiate terms and close sales to meet targets.
• Maintain CRM records of customers and sales activities.
• Stay informed on product updates and industry trends.
• Collaborate with the technical team to deliver solutions to clients.
