Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Soweto, Gauteng to perform detailed process flow analysis and optimization. You will examine operations, map current processes, identify bottlenecks, and work with on-site teams to implement improvements that boost productivity and reduce lead times.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and experience in process mapping, data analysis, and Lean principles.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Experience in process flow analysis, optimization, and continuous improvement.
Proficiency with process mapping approaches and tools.

Responsibilities

Map and analyze current state process flows for manufacturing and operational activities.
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and waste within existing workflows.
Develop and propose optimized future state process flows and operational strategies.
Utilize simulation and modeling techniques to evaluate the impact of proposed changes.
Conduct time studies and work measurement to establish baseline performance metrics.
Collaborate with operational teams to implement approved process improvements.
Develop and document SOPs for optimized processes.
Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and adjust as needed.
Analyze data related to process performance, throughput, and resource utilization.
Ensure all improvements align with safety regulations and company standards.
