Placements24 is seeking a junior Industrial Engineer to join their Continuous Improvement team in Soweto. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience applying industrial engineering principles to improve efficiency and productivity, working closely with experienced engineers on real-world projects.

You will analyze processes, collect data, and support lean initiatives using 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Internship or co-op experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in analyzing manufacturing and operational processes to identify improvement areas.
• Collect and organize data related to production efficiency, quality, and waste.
• Support implementation of Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to execute process improvement projects.
• Help develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation.
• Conduct basic time studies and workplace observations.
