Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing or production setting.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen) and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with process simulation software and data analysis tools is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production line performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for improved efficiency and throughput.
• Design and optimize manufacturing layouts, workflows, and workstation configurations.
• Develop and implement SOPs and work instructions for various production processes.
• Conduct time and motion studies to establish production standards and identify labor efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and equipment to improve production capabilities in Upington.
