DotActiv in Cape Town is seeking an Inbound Marketer to drive B2B content in the retail software space. You will create articles, case studies, emails, and lead magnets, guided by customer journeys and SEO best practices.

This role emphasizes AI-assisted content, industry knowledge extraction from SMEs, and ongoing optimization of assets. You will work with a collaborative team, track performance in CRM systems, and contribute to a scaled content engine.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in B2B content marketing or inbound marketing (SaaS/Software experience is a strong advantage).
• Proven daily proficiency using AI tools to accelerate research, copywriting, and content ideation.
• Solid understanding of inbound marketing fundamentals, lead generation funnels, and SEO basics.
• Exceptional written English skills with a sharp eye for editing and technical accuracy.
• Team player with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• Marketing, Communications, or Business related degrees are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supporting DotActiv’s inbound marketing engine through AI-assisted content creation and internal technical knowledge.
• Executing content strategies by creating articles, case studies, emails, and lead magnets aligned to customer journeys.
• Leveraging modern generative AI tools to draft, repurpose, and scale content efficiently.
• Conducting interviews with internal SMEs to extract technical domain knowledge for marketing assets.
• Tracking inbound performance metrics (traffic, conversion rates, MQLs) using CRM and marketing platforms.
• Optimising SEO strategies to ensure content ranks effectively in search engines.
• Researching industry benchmarks and best-practice frameworks for SEO, copywriting, and AI prompting to refine output quality.
• Breaking down long-form content into short-form assets, social posts, or infographics.
• Updating and optimising older, underperforming blog posts and landing pages to extend asset lifecycles and boost conversion rates.
