Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking a Permanent in-store team member in the Free State region to efficiently handle POS operations and customer service. You will scan merchandise, process payments, promote clubcard memberships, and maintain store standards.

The role emphasizes accuracy, customer focus and product knowledge to ensure a positive shopping experience. Prior retail exposure is beneficial, with a focus on promotions and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic maths calculations required.
• Retail/FMCG store operations knowledge helpful.
• Desirable Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level.

Responsibilities

• Execute all operational activities at the point of sale promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment, including clubcard rewards.
• Ensure safe handling of cash at all times.
• Promote Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to meet targets.
• Make customers aware of promotions to boost sales and enhance customer experience.
• Deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador, with a friendly and professional approach.
• Maintain merchandising and general housekeeping per store and visual standards.
• Support the Group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer.
• Keep knowledge on products, promotions and events to provide correct information to customers.
