Placements24 is seeking an energetic Inside Sales Representative for a hybrid role in Gauteng. You will generate leads, qualify prospects, and work with the external sales team to move opportunities to closure.

The ideal candidate has experience in inside sales or telemarketing, strong communication skills, and comfort with tech products. This role offers a base plus commission and requires adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in inside sales, telemarketing or customer service, preferably tech-related.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with persuasive tone.
• Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with B2B sales processes and lead qualification techniques.

Responsibilities

• Initiate outbound calls and engage with potential clients to generate new leads and set appointments for the external sales team.
• Qualify inbound leads from various channels, assess needs and fit.
• Conduct needs analysis to understand client challenges and communicate value propositions.
• Maintain a high volume of customer interactions via phone, email, and social media.
• Nurture relationships with prospects through the funnel with timely information and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads and support deal progression.
• Accurately record all sales activities and outcomes in the CRM system.
• Contribute to team by sharing insights, best practices, and market feedback.
• Aim to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for leads and appointments.
