Placements24 is seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Project Engineer to support construction operations in Centurion. This role bridges planning and execution, providing technical expertise and project management support to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to high standards.

You will coordinate with site teams, subcontractors and consultants; review shop drawings and documentation; assist with schedules and budgets; and contribute to risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Project Engineer role within construction.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles.
• Proficiency in project management software and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support to construction projects, resolving design and execution challenges.
• Assist in the development and management of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and other project-related documentation.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure project progress aligns with technical specifications.
• Prepare project reports, including progress updates, cost analyses, and risk assessments.
