Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Construction Project Manager with a Civil Engineering background to lead infrastructure projects in the Nelspruit area. This hybrid role requires strong leadership to plan, procure, execute, and closeout projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

You will oversee site operations, manage subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, maintain client relationships, and provide regular progress reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with civil infrastructure focus.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contract administration, and site safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management software and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
• Develop and manage project budgets, controlling costs and identifying potential risks.
• Supervise site operations, including personnel, subcontractors, and equipment.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
