Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in process engineering with a focus on optimization in a chemical plant environment.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and process modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of chemical plant operations, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid remote and on-site capacity.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plant operational data to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing reaction conditions, separation techniques, and material handling.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and equipment failures, proposing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of process improvements.
• Design and manage pilot studies or plant trials to test new process modifications and technologies.
• Create and update SOPs and process documentation.
