Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Chemical Engineer with Production Support to join our facility in Rustenburg. You will work with the production team to resolve operational challenges, optimize yields, and maintain product quality, splitting time between on-site problem-solving and remote analysis.

The ideal candidate holds a BEng in Chemical Engineering with at least 4 years in production or process engineering, applies SPC and quality systems, and communicates effectively across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a production or process engineering role.
• Solid understanding of chemical plant operations and equipment.
• Experience with SPC and quality management systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both on-site and remotely, with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the production department, addressing process deviations and quality issues.
• Monitor key process parameters and implement adjustments to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production problems and develop effective solutions.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to schedule and execute process modifications.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
