Job summary

Placements24 in Stellenbosch seeks an experienced Lean Manufacturing Consultant to implement lean principles across operations, drive continuous improvement, and foster operational excellence. The role blends on-site consultancy in Stellenbosch with remote analysis and reporting, enabling flexibility and efficiency.

You will work with management and operational teams to identify waste, streamline processes, and implement sustainable lean solutions, including 5S, value stream mapping, and Kaizen

Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing lean principles in manufacturing.
• Experience facilitating Kaizen events and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with on-site Stellenbosch consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Assess current processes to identify waste and efficiency gains.
• Lead lean initiatives (5S, value stream mapping, Kaizen events).
• Train and coach site personnel on lean tools.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to drive improvements.
