Placements24 is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee the implementation of enterprise systems from requirements to deployment and post-implementation support. The role is based in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA, and follows a hybrid work model that balances office collaboration with remote flexibility.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, define scope and timelines, and ensure successful user adoption.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 6+ years in IT project management with systems implementation (ERP/CRM/HRIS).
• Proven track record delivering enterprise IT systems.
• Knowledge of PM methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid.
• Solid SDLC and IT infrastructure understanding.
• Experience with PM tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder skills.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Certifications like PMP/Prince2/ITIL are a plus.

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of IT system implementation projects.
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resources.
• Manage vendor relationships including selection, contracts and performance.
• Coordinate with internal IT, business stakeholders and external vendors.
• Develop and execute project plans with risk management.
• Monitor progress against milestones and address deviations.
• Ensure IT best practices, security standards and policies.
• Foster clear communication among team members and stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets and financial accountability.
• Oversee UAT and system deployment activities.
