Placements24 is partnering with a large enterprise in Midrand, Gauteng, to appoint an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee enterprise-wide IT solutions. You will drive full project lifecycles from planning to deployment in a hybrid work setting, coordinating on-site and remote teams.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in IT project management, strong stakeholder management, and fluency with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, MS Project, Jira, and Trello.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of IT project management experience with enterprise solutions.
• Proven track record in managing complex projects with cross-functional teams and significant budgets.
• Strong understanding of software development, networks, cloud, and cybersecurity.
• Proficient with PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello).

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of enterprise IT projects, including software implementations, system upgrades, and infrastructure rollouts.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for all assigned projects.
• Oversee IT teams, including developers, analysts, and infrastructure specialists, ensuring efficient task completion.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and provide regular status updates and reports to leadership.
• Facilitate the adoption of new IT solutions and provide support during the transition phase.
