The role blends remote flexibility with essential in‑office collaboration in Gauteng, managing planning, procurement, implementation and post‑deployment support across internal IT teams and external vendors.

You will drive detailed project plans, coordinate networks, servers, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and ensure risk mitigation and timely delivery with strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of IT project management experience, infrastructure focus.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans for IT infrastructure upgrades and rollouts, including scope, timelines, resources, and budget.
• Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to established timelines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal IT departments and external vendors to ensure successful implementation.
• Oversee procurement of hardware, software, and services, managing vendor contracts and performance.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues related to infrastructure deployment in Pretoria.
• Monitor project progress, providing regular status reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Ensure successful transition of new infrastructure into operational support.
• Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records of all project activities.
• Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
