Job summary

Placements24 in Paarl is seeking a proactive Helpdesk Support Analyst to provide timely IT support to internal users, diagnose and resolve issues across hardware, software, and networks, and maintain high service levels in a hybrid work environment.

You will work with Windows and macOS, MS Office, and basic networking, log incidents, and guide users on best practices, with opportunities for IT certifications and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; IT certification desirable.
• Experience as Helpdesk Analyst or in a similar IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, MS Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve IT support requests from end-users via ticketing system, phone, and email.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to users on best practices for IT usage.
• Document all support activities, resolutions, and user issues in the helpdesk system.
• Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
