Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial engineering with a focus on production/manufacturing environments.
• Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Experience with process analysis, time studies and layout design.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork, with hybrid Pretoria involvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current production processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for increased efficiency.
• Develop and implement lean manufacturing techniques, such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Conduct time studies and work measurements to establish performance standards.
• Design optimal factory layouts and material flow systems.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and operators to implement process improvements.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Track KPIs related to production efficiency and quality.
