Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist for our client in George, Western Cape. The role offers a hybrid work model with in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.

You will support a broad range of HR functions, partner with employees and management, and help implement HR policies to foster a positive, productive work environment. The ideal candidate holds an HR-related degree, 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• A National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment and onboarding, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and orientations.
• Administer benefits programs including health insurance and provident fund.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
• Support performance management processes and appraisal cycles.
• Assist with HR training programs.
• Contribute to resolution of employee relations issues with fair policy application.
• Maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives.
• Organize and manage HR documentation and filing systems.
